Attended by Albert Sidney Johnston camp of Confederate Veterans, Daughters of the Confedercy, Southern Cross Drill and Alamo Defenders, the funeral of the late Dr. James Davis was held yesterday afternoon. Interment was made in the Confederate cemetery. The services were conducted at 3:30 o'clock at Travis Park Methodist church.
The pallbearers were: Godfrey Peterson, A. J. Raker, Thos. Smith, C. K. Gravis, E. Harris and G. W. Reynolds.
