Mom married Ralph Hansford MCBROOM on 16 Oct 1954 in St Louis MO and they had four children: Doug, Grace "Sis", Kristy & Charlene "Charlie". She graduated from Castor (LA) High School in 1957, where she was an all-state basketball player. Mom collected butterfly pins and loved life. We were so lucky to have her daily energy, optimism and love.

Mrs. Ima Grace Plunkett McBroom, 37, 1110 Apple Drive, North Biloxi, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the USAF Medical Center, Keesler, where she had been a patient for three days.
Mrs. McBroom was the former district auditor for Grant's Department Store. Mrs. McBroom was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Bienville, La., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy (Hazel Rowell) Plunkett of Bienville, La. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her widower, Ralph McBroom; one son, Ralph Douglas McBroom; three daughters, Grace, Sharon and Charlene McBroom, all of North Biloxi; two brothers, J.T. Plunkett, Bozier City, La., and Ronald Plunkett, Caster, La.; five sisters, Mrs. Ena Hoffmeyer, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Lucy West, Bozier City, Mrs. Mertha Culbertson, Bienville, and Mrs. Hazel Sullivan, and Mrs. Carol Jinks, Caster, and one grandchild.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Vernon Cargill, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
Burial will be in Serenity Gardens, North Biloxi.
