Viola Naedean (Eoff) Shoemaker was the daughter of Wylie Leroy and Minnie Oxford Eoff, natives of Arkansas. She was raised in Madison County, Arkansas on the family farm with brothers, Harvey Leon Eoff, James Ellis Eoff (d.y.) William Lonzo Eoff, Louis Franklin Eoff and Norman Ross Eoff, and sister, Dora Elizabeth (Eoff) Falkner.

"Viola Naedean (Eoff) Shoemaker, 68, of Forum, died Sept 14, 2003 at her home. She was born Oct 10, 1934 in Kingston to Wylie LeRoy and Minnie Oxford Eoff. She was a retired truck driver and a homemaker. She attended Peoples Mission Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Loyd Shoemaker on Dec 29, 1999 and two infant daughters. Survivors include four brothers, Leon Eoff of Avoca, Lonzo Eoff and Buster Eoff both of Hindsville and Norman Eoff of Huntsville. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev Larry Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Mike Eoff, Bill Eoff, Doug Eoff, Roger Eoff, Gaylon Davis and Lynn Falkner. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home."
