Ervin Rowden was the son of Rolla Ira Rowden and Ruby Mae Oliver and was born in a little place called Gum Springs. He served in the Army in World WarII as a radio operator. He married Nona Freeman in Searcy, White Co, AR on Nov 23, 1946. Ervin farmed until abt 1953 when he moved his family to Peoria, IL and went to work for Caterpillar Tracter Co. They raised six children...Jimmy (Jim), Robert(Bob), Phylis Ann, Linda, Donald(Don) and Diana. Ervin was a talented musician playing guitar and harmonica at the same time. He played with local country bands from the 1950's thru the 1970's. Ervin and Nona moved to KY in 1995. He died at the hospital in Bowling Green and is buried in Hiseville, Barren Co, Kentucky.
