OXFORD -- Paul R. Bovenzi, 54, of 116 Orchard Hill Drive, died in Autumn Village Nursing Home after a long illness.
He left his wife of 29 years, Elaine (Belliveau) Bovenzi; two sons, Paul Bovenzi Jr. of Worcester and James P. Bovenzi at home; three daughters, Kimberly D., Elisha M. and Mary E. Bovenzi, all at home; his mother, Eleanor (Reilley) Bovenzi of Worcester; three brothers, Bernard W. Bovenzi of Leicester, Philip R. Bovenzi and Ralph P. Bovenzi Jr., both of Worcester; three sisters, Ann M. Sweeney of Saint Cloud, Fla., Gail L. Brunelle of Wales and Linda J. Fassett of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Ralph Bovenzi, and attended Leicester High School, later earning his GED while serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Bovenzi was an aide at Providence House of Worcester, now Radius Healthcare, before retiring in 1990. He was previously a night supervisor for Till Co. in Westboro, and a painter for Frank L. Adams Co. He was a member of Triumphant Life Ministries.
Funeral services were held in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Donations may be made to the Bovenzi Children Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Vincent Hospital Credit Union, 20 Worcester Center Blvd., Worcester, MA 01608.
