MATHEWS, Clifford H., 86, of Benson, AZ, died October 30, 2008, in Tucson, AZ. Mr. Mathews was born in Medford, Wisconsin on March 21, 1922, and moved to Arizona in 1948. He is survived by children, Clifford "Gene" Mathews, of Marana, Sue (Jon) Martin of Arkansas and Robert "Bobby" Mathews of Alabama; brothers, Ronald L. Mathews of Tucson and Gerald Mathews of Las Vegas, NV, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. He was the founder of the Tucson Antique Car Club and a member of the Marana Elks Club. He retired from Arizona Portland Cement Company in 1982.
