Roger was born July 10, 1925, in Seminole to William A. and Dovie R. (Hoover) Almon.
He was in the Navy from 1943-1946.
Roger worked for Colonial Pipeline Co. for 36 years when he retired in 1982.
He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Dorothy Almon; parents; son, Roger D. Almon; siblings, Peggy, Louise, Bert, Virgil, Rene, and John.
Those left to cherish their memories are his children, Dorothy J. Humphries of Alabama, Linda R. Almon of Oklahoma City, and Robert W. Almon of Shawnee; sister, Marie Buckley; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Rock Creek Baptist Church.
