Service for Mildred E. Kessinger, 78, of 147 Downey Dr., who died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1986, in Chambersburg Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Park-Geisel Funeral Home Inc.

The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Born Jan. 13, 1908, in Roxbury, she was the daughter of the late Calvin G. and Mary E. Reed Laughlin.

She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church and the Royal Daughter's Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church.

From 1954-72, she was a cashier at Wilson College.

Surviving are her husband, Harry F. Kessinger; three daughters, Jane E. (Mrs. Howard J.) McClelland of 339 High St., Mary Lousie (Mrs. Andrew) McLanahan of Fayetteville and Linda Marie (Mrs. Robert) Freet of 526 S. Fourth St.; a stepdaughter, Grace (Mrs. Clyde) McKnight of Scotland; three stepsons, Andrew Peters Jr. of Fayetteville and Larry and Dale Kessinger, both of Chambersburg; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; nine stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreatgrandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 225 E. King St.
