Mrs. Ola L. Knost
Mrs. Ola L. Knost, 59, of 419 Front St., was pronounced dead on arrival at Portsmouth General Hospital Monday at 10:45 p.m.
A native of Adams County, she was born July 15 1899, a daughter of Chilton and Ruth Elizabeth Brown Nichols.
She is survived by two brothers, Charles Nichols of Oak Hill and Jake Nichols of Columbus; a son, Woodward L. Davis of Lucasville Rt. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Burk of Sciotoville Rt. 2 and Mrs. Martha Henson of Columbus, and six grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dachler Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Newsome officiating. Burial is to follow in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.

Gravesite Details
Headstone was homemade and at one time had marbles pressed into the concrete. Inscription is difficult to read. Ola's headstone is 2 graves to the right of her son, Woodrow Davis, shown in the 2nd picture. Picture taken by her granddaughter.
