James Everett Huffman was born to Ira Andrew and Lovina Kinnell Huffman in Anthony, KS He was one of 7 children. He met and married Anna Mary Schone of Pawnee, OK Jan 1,1910 James and Anna had 9 children. James came to Red Bluff 12 June 1935 with his family; he leveled and farmed a piece of land in the Bend. He purchased in 1948 and operated until his death, the Union 76 Service Station at 1000 Walnut Street Red Bluff, CA.
