Cora A. Ranstead Barrett, aged 73, of 927 South 27th street, died at 12:45 p.m. in the St. Joseph hospital, Mishawaka, after several weeks illness.She was born in Berrien county, Michigan, April 3, 1870, and lived most of her life here.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Hatfield, with whom she made her home; four sons Lawrence Barrett, of Osceola, this county, and Lloyd, William and Larman Barrett of South Bend; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Christian church. Friends will be received in the Earl C. Hollis funeral home until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Southlawn cemetery.
