Steele, Pauline Alberta, 90, of Paden City, WV died Thursday, November 20, 2008 in Sistersville Center, Sistersville, WV.
Pauline was born December 24, 1917 in Pine Grove, WV the daughter of the late
David E. and Toy Roberta Beckett Heasley.
She was the owner of the former The Charcoal Grill in Paden City from 1953 until 1965 and a member of the Paden City Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Steele in 1981; brothers, Lawrence and John Heasley; sister, Ada Morgan.
Surviving are a son, Robert "Bob" Steele and his wife, Dot of Paden City; WV; grandchildren, Rob Steele and his wife, Terry and Wendy Carpenter and her husband, Randy all of Friendly, WV: great-grandchildren, Justin and Megan Carpenter.
Friends received 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008 with Morris Hafley officiating.
