Alonzo Bailey, 78, of St. Marys, died Sunday morning at his residence.
Bailey was born in Pleasants County, a son of the late Austin and Rosa Scadden Bailey.
Surviving are three sons, Bruce Bailey, Dale
Bailey and Mark Bailey, all of St. Marys; three daughters, Lois Bennett, Judy Evans and Rosemary Sparks, all of St. Marys; two brothers, Leonard Bailey of St. Marys and Lloyd Bailey of Marietta; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vestine Elder Bailey.
Services were held Tuesday at the Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Robert Buskirk officiating. Burial was in the
Lamp Cemetery near St. Marys.
