Alan Dale Wisian of New Braunfels was born Feb. 20, 1953 to Alfred and Adelene Wisian.

He passed away on Nov. 18, 2008 at the age of 55.

He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Alan was affectionately known as "Da-daddy" to his beautiful grand-girls.

He also enjoyed and loved his beautiful step-granddaughter, is survived by his wife, his daughter, and husband, son, and wife, granddaughters, and step-granddaughter. He is also survived by his mother, and his sister.

Alan is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Wisian.

After graduating from Southwest Texas State University, he built a career in technology.

Alan enjoyed being involved in his home, his church and his community.

Anyone who knew him recognized his patience, kindness, caring nature and his love.

Visitation is between 6-8 p.m. today at Thomason Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.

Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Martindale.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Gruene United Methodist Church in his memory at 301 Main Plaza #369, New Braunfels, Tx.

Services are entrusted to Thomason Funeral Home 2001 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos.
