Tressie Keever - ERWIN
Mrs. Tressie Lee Keever, age 60, 734 Sandy Bottom Road, Erwin, died Friday, November 21, 2008, in the North Side Hospital, Johnson City, following a lengthy illness with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Bud and Jessie Williams.
Mrs. Keever retired in 2000 from Murray Guard at Nuclear Fuel Service after fifteen years of service as a Security Guard. She was a member of Lily Dale Church of Christ. Mrs. Keever enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing and camping.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Keever in 2008.
Mrs. Keever is survived by her husband, Tommy D. Keever; Three sons, Joe Keever, Danny Keever and wife, Amy, and Shawn Keever and wife, Porsche, all of Erwin; One brother, Hank Williams and wife, Nancy, Erwin; One Sister, Sheila Foster, Erwin; Seven grandchildren, Amber Keever, Thatcher Keever, Jacob Keever, Reanna Keever, Lucas Keever, K. J. Koester and Lexus Keever. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Keever will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Jack Davis will officiate. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. The family will receive friends from 3:00 P. M. Sunday until the hour of service.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Banner Cemetery, Lily Dale Community. Family, minister and friends are requested to assemble at the cemetery by 10:50 A.M.
