Helen A. Fisher , 64, of 3940 Bussey Road, died Sunday at Community-General Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Fisher was a life resident of the South Onondaga area. She had worked at Pomeroy Appraisal Associates for five years. She also had worked at the Soil Conservation Service, the Onondaga County Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, South Onondaga. She was a member of the New York State Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee. Surviving are her husband, Floyd; three sons, Donald, David and Douglas, all of South Onondaga; a daughter, Charlene Baxter of New London, N.H.; her mother, Daisy Abbott of South Onondaga; a brother, Harold M. Abbott of South Onondaga; two sisters, Thelma Mead of South Onondaga, and Cheryl Charboneau of Honeoye Falls; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Church, Onondaga Hill. Burial will be in South Onondaga Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Norris Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Church or South Onondaga Fire Department.
