ARNOLD, Ret. Sgt. Willie RayAge 75 of Nashville, TN. Born into Eternity on November 23, 2008. Ray retired from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department with 33 years of service. Survived by wife, Ruth E. Arnold; daughter, Joyce Pirtle; son, Mike (Brenda) Arnold; grandchildren, Stephanie (Andrew) Jones, Michael Arnold, Jr., Joshua, Katelyn and Carlee Arnold; three great grandchildren; brothers, Larry T. and Frank D. Arnold; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Woodbine Funeral Home, HICKORY CHAPEL, 5852 Nolensville Road by Wendell Byrd, Drew Crosby and Jimmy Greer. Interment Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Family and Friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Active and Retirees of Metropolitan Police Dept., Police Honor Guard, Elders and Deacons of Wingate Church of Christ, Gary Pirtle, Sgt. Wilbur Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rankin and the "Rook Group". Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. til 1 p.m. and 3 til 8 p.m. at WOODBINE FUNERAL HOME, HICKORY CHAPEL DIRECTORS, (615) 331-1952.
