L. C. PURDY, 60, of 165 E. McKellar, retired employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority, died Wednesday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Pentecostal Institutional Church of God in Christ. Mr. Purdy, the husband of Nail Purdy, also leaves five daughters, Yvonne Evans, Marilyn Odell, Jacqueline Sharp, Cornelia Purdy and Nataline Purdy, and a son, Leonardo Purdy, all of Memphis; a stepmother, Elgean Purdy; two sisters, Thelma Buggs and Janice Love, and two brothers, Joe W.
