Clarasa is the daughter of David Jasper Reavis and Clarasa Ann Brown. She lived all her life in the Lincoln, Lawrence and Bedford Counties in TN. Her father died during the Civil War and her mother remarried Henry C Brown. Clarasa married Amzira in Lincoln Co., TN on 10 Dec 1875. They had nine (9) children. Clarasa raised her family in Lincoln & Bedford Counties, mostly around Wheel, Petersburg, and Singleton, TN. She died of a heart attack a year before her husband, Amzira, who died in the great flu epidemic of 1918. Clarasa had two (2) brothers, John Wesley Reavis and George Franklin Reavis. She also had a half-sister, Martha Elizabeth Brown-Lutz.
