Funeral Services for Bert T. Hicks, 84, of Kellerman, who died Thursday at West Alabama General Hospital, will be at 1 P.M. Saturday at Hayes Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Dockery will officiate with burial at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Hayes Chapel directing.
Survivors include three sons, M. B. Hicks, Tuscaloosa; Vernon Hicks, Adger; and Thomas Hicks, Hueytown; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Wells, Chicago, IL, and Mrs. Billie Bates, Tuscaloosa; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Perry Bates, Lloyd Hicks, James Snider, Kenneth Hicks, Ronald Hicks, Glenn Davis and Danny Schryer.
Honorary pall bearers will be Edwin Hicks, Michael Bates, Jimmy Wells and friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
