She married Sherman L. Pruitt in Sapulpa on April 21, 1939. She was a retail clerk at Red Bud Grocery Store in Lawton. She moved back to Hartshorne after the death of her husband. She was survived by daughter, Marie LaDoux of Hartshorne; a granddaughter; two great-grandsons and a sister-in-law, Joyce Bryan of Lawton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
