J. H. Register Dies Saturday
Joel Huson Register, 63, died Saturday at his home In the Bethel community following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Bethel Methodist church with Bro. Cecil Jones officiating assisted by the Rev Gray Wilson. Burial was in the Bethel cemetery under the direction of the Price-Caraway Funeral Home of Logansport.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Davis of Washington DC and Mrs. Janet Powell of Hallsville, Texas; two sons, James H Register and Bobby Joe Register both of Logansport; a sister Mrs Eva Mae Wheless of Logansport and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Earnest Claybrook, Clarence Spears, Henry Clark Jr., Coy Hassel, Rex Heard and Jimmie Wheless. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Blunt, Bill Curry and George Arbuckle.
