Harold "Pete" Heuser, age 81, a long time truck driver & businessman of Rich Hill, MO, passed away peacefully November 23, 2008 with his children & grandchildren by his side at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri, He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Arleta Heuser on July 5, 1995; one son, Donald Wayne Heuser; two grandchildren, Kelly Dawn Swope & Nathan Charles Ephland; one daughter- inlaw, Cheryl Heuser; his parents, Jacob & Effie Heuser; and two brothers, Wes & Kenneth "Bud" Heuser. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Rich Hill with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will received friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Heuser Funeral Home. He is survived by his 5 children, Larry & Joyce Heuser, El Dorado Springs, MO, Marjorie Heuserm Rich Hill, MO, Linda & Don Swope, Rich Hill, MO, Terry Heuser, Rich Hill, MO, Steve & Helen Heuser, Rich Hill, MO; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
