Funeral Friday

NORTH VERNON — Funeral for Ursel Paul Copley, 60, of Butlerville will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Dove–Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Butlerville Cemetery.

Mr. Copley died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 1996, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

He was owner of Harvest Restaurant at Holton and Copley Trucking Co. and also was employed at Caltherm in Columbus.

Born March 8, 1936, in Ethel, W.Va., he was the son of Cecil and Shirley Copley. He married Ruby Brown Oct. 31, 1954. She survives.

Also surviving are sons, Harold, Paul and Randy Copley, all of Butlerville, and William Copley of Seymour; daughters, Michelle Scarberry and Tina Neice, both of Butlerville; his stepmother, Mary Copley of Butlerville; brothers, Jack Copley of Greensburg and Cecil Copley of Indianapolis; a sister, Wilma Jean Barre of Butlerville; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosenella Copley.
