Helen M. Beames, better known at "Mo Mo" of Genoa, Ill. formerly of West Frankfort, passed away Friday, May 7, 2004 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, Ill. She was born November 14, 1916 in Rosiclaire, Ill., she was the daughter of Milton and Bessie (Downey) Rose.
She is survived by a son, Don (Linda) Howell of Lees Summit, MO.; two daughters, Carol (Robert) Skeen of Mascoutah and Sharon (Joe) Wilkinson of Genoa; a sister, Lena (John) Pistono of West Frankfort; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Miriam Rott of Marion, eight brothers, Guy, Millard, Dick, Birl, and Leslie of West Frankfort; Kenneth, Sheridan, and Charles of Minn.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah. Interment was at Mascoutah City Cemetery.
