Ada married Glenn Lawrence Pierce February 8, 1905.

Mother of 5 children: Reva Dorothy, Thelma B. (Allen) Glenn, Max Arthur and Robert Eugene.

Ada is buried in the Highland Park Mausoleum.

Ada Blanche Pierce, 88, of 816 West Main died Monday noon at Grand Rapids Osteopathic hospital where she had been a patient three days. She had lived at a convalescent home on West Lincoln the past few years.

Born September 30, 1881 in Morley, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Allen. February 8, 1905, she was married to Glenn l. Pierce in Ionia. He died in 1947. She was a member of First United Methodist church and a former member of Eastern Star and White Shrine.

Surviving are three sons, Allen, Max and Robert of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Stebbins of Ionia, Mrs. Thelma Clark of Hartford; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and also three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home. Rev. Lester Bailey will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park mausoleum. A memorial has been established for the First United Methodist church.
