ELOY —Irene Buchanan, 91, a longtime Eloy resident, died Sept. 15, 1999 in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Valley Funeral Home. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Harvey Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Buchanan was born June 21, 1908 in Hollis, Okla. She owned a flower shop and lived in the area 63 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce A. Parker; two sons, Herman L. and John A. Buchanan; a sister, Abbie Swearingen; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy G.
