She was born on December 6, 1901 in American Fork, Utah, a daughter of Eli James and Ann Elizabeth Hawkins Clayson.
She married Dr. Allen Grant Brockbank on June 7, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She taught school in American Fork and Heber. She received her BS degree from BYU in 1947. She served and LDS mission in the California Mission. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many ward and stake auxiliary positions. She served 22 years on the Primary General Board and was a Provo LDS Temple worker for eight years. She had been active in community affairs; President Thalian and Sorosis Literary Clubs, Silver Slipper Dinner - Dance Club, and also Provo District and Utah State Dental Auxiliaries. Zina's greatest joy in life has been her family, friends and church service.
She is survived by her husband of Provo; two sons, Dr. Grant Clayson Brockbank and wife Joan, Salt Lake City; Dr. Allen Brent Brockbank, Hollister, California; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Lucy Davis, Boise, Idaho; Lourena May Benson, Preston, Idaho; Eli Karl Clayson and wife Beulah, Provo; Mrs. John Farr (Ann) Larson, Salt Lake City.
