CELESTINE "SALLY" MARIE BERIO Passed away on February 4, 2005 in San Leandro. Born in Melrose, Minnesota on August 13, 1908, the fifth of six children born to Joseph and Mary Timmer. Dearly beloved wife of the late Alfred Berio (1961). Loving mother of Robert Berio and his wife, Barbara; devoted grandmother of James and his wife, Wendy and great grandmother of Hayley and Lindsey. Many nieces and nephews also survive Sally. Siblings, Joseph Jr., John, Vincent, Marie and Anthony also preceded her in death. A graduate of St. Gabriel's School of Nursing in Little Falls, MN. Sally retired from St. Rose Hospital in Hayward after 12 years. A member of St. Jarleth's Senior Center, Fruitvale Senior Center, Assension Senior Center and Peralta College RSVP. Sally loved to cook, sew and work in her garden, in addition to numerous crafts including painting. Friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, February 7, 2005 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., a vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday at SANTOS-ROBINSON MORTUARY, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 8, 2005 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at St. Leanders Catholic Church, 550 W. Estudillo Ave., San Leandro. Burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave., Oakland.
