Kenneth Wayne Hagler, Jr., of 1700 Peed Road, Rougemont, N.C., died Wednesday, November 19, 2008, in Prince George, Va. He was in good health until he died suddenly. Born Sept. 13, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Va., he was the son of Kenneth Wayne Hagler, Sr. and Crystal Gail Staunton Hagler.
Beside his mother and father of Prince George, Va., he is survived by a sister, Skylar Rayne of Ringgold, Va.; maternal grandmother, Candice Staunton of Rougemont, N.C.; maternal grandfather, Carlton Staunton of Rougemont, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Wendy Adams of Milton, N.C.; paternal grandfather, William H. Hagler, of Danville; step-grandfather, Mark Adams of Milton, N.C.; step-grandmother, Renee Hagler of Danville; great-grandmother, Helen Rook of Rougemont, N.C.; and a number of aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his great-grandfather, Kenneth Walker.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Yeaman officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.
