Laura Alice Norris, 77, of La Junta, passed away November 24, 2007 in Pueblo.
Laura was born to David & Mabel Hiner on Sept. 12, 1930 in Springfield, Colorado and lived most of her life in the lower Arkansas Valley.
She is survived by her daughter Susan (Alex) Kaiser of Pueblo; son David (Sheila) Higbee of Colorado Springs; daughter-in-law Julie Higbee of La Junta; grandchildren Joey (Brandy) Kaiser, Michael (Cheryl) Kaiser, Tiffany (Harry) Lanier, Sean (Michelle) Higbee; Chuck (Chanoy) Higbee, Gary (Michelle) Higbee, Laurie (Mark) Bitter, Sherri (Aaron) Adame, Ronnie (Lonnie) Minniear, and Danny Joe Higbee, 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Pat) Hiner & David A. Hiner; sister, Shirley Malone; sisters-in-law Marcy and Joan Norris and numerous other relatives.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Norris, parents, son Danny Higbee, sister, Janice Hester and sister-in-law, Agnes Norris.
Memorial services will be Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
