Died at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, March 16, 1913, at St. John's hospital, of tuberculosis, John Derricott, aged 39 years, 3 months and 5 days. Deceased was born in England in 1873 and came to this country when but ten years old. He had been a resident of this city for the past twenty-nine years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. John Derricott; four sons, John, Richard, Rodley and Donald Derricott; three daughters, Gladys, Dorothy and Elizabeth Derricott; three sisters, Mrs. Ira Dawling, Mrs. R. S. Cummings of this city, and Mrs. B. Hall of Trenton, Mo. Deceased was also a member of the Knights and Ladies of Security and the U. M. W. A. IL State Register, Springield, IL 3-17-1913
