Services for Wilma Chisolm Kynerd will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Randy Cardwell and Lynn McRainey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Kynerd, 88, of Bailey, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, in her home. She was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Homer D. Kynerd, of Bailey; son, Mike Kynerd and his wife, Patsy, of Bailey, a daughter, Jan Griffin and her husband, James, of Bailey; grandchildren, John Kynerd and his wife, Lori, Sarah Cook and Dave Miller and his wife, Kasie, great-grandchildren, Kristin Kynerd, Colton Kynerd, Jackson Cook and Luke Miller; one brother, L. Charles Chisolm of Kemper County, sisters-in-law, Edwina Chisolm of Bailey and Ruby Chisolm of Birmingham, Ala.; a brother-in-law, V. V. "Pete" Kyners and his wife, Velma Ruth and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Kynerd, Dave Miller, Rusty Kynerd, Phillip Chisolm, Andrew Chisolm and Kenny Miles.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
