Dayton B. (Dee) Webb, 63, well known Anderson County resident, died at 9:15 o'clock last night at his home in the Piercetown community. He had been ill four years, seriously since January 1.

Mr. Webb was employed for 25 years with the State Highway Department and worked with the Street Department of the City of Anderson for a short time.

He was a native of Anderson County, the son of the late Dayton and Nannie Martin Webb. He was never married.

Surviving are two brothers, Warren and Paulee Webb; four sisters, Misses Laura, Mattie and Myrtle Webb and Mrs. C. Frank Bolt, all of Piercetown community.

Funeral services will be held from the residence Tuesday at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. J. W. Jollie and the Rev. U. G. Wilson. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church cemetery.

Active pallbearers: Harold Martin, Wade Martin, Willie Martin, Reginald Webb, Bennie Martin, Clabon Nelson.

The body will be at the residence after 3 p.m. today. Sullivan-King Mortuary is in charge.
