"Mrs. Jerry McDonald Laid to Rest at Baird"

Funeral services for Mrs. Jerry McDonald, 69, a resident of the Rowden community for 45 years, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wylie Funeral Home. Chapel in Baird with Lonnie Branan, minster of the Baird Church of Christ officiating. Burial was made in the Ross Cemetery.

Mrs. McDonald died Sunday, September 11, in the Callahan County Hospital.

Survivors include: her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Jim Price of Baird, Mrs. Perry Jeans, Sipe Springs; Mrs. J. C. Childers, Cross Plains; Mrs. Leonard Cope, Odessa; Mrs. Ruby Faye Higgins, San Angelo and Mrs. J. Love, Tulia; six sons, Henry Baird, Cecil, Mesa, AZ; Ned, Plainview, Ray and Lee, Bakersfield, CA and Clovis, Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Bob Quisenbury, Houston and Mrs. Henry Blackwell, Wharton; four brothers, Jim McMillan, Cross Plains, J. P. McMillan, Bakersfield, Orville McMillan, Wichita, KS and Buell McMillan, Dallas.

Pallbearers were: Sterling Odom, Blan Odom, E. R. Smith, Ray Boen and Voncill Gibbs.
