Bradley – Died, July 6, at his mother’s home at Marshall, Ill., Isaac K. Bradley, of a complication of diseases, aged about 45 years.

Mr. Bradley was well known in this city, having practiced law here since 1873. He was born in Gallia County, Ohio. He studied law under his brother, Hon. L. H. Bradley, and after being admitted to practice became a member of the law firm of Bradley, Olden & Bradley. Afterwards the firm was known as Bradley & Bradley, Mr. Olden having retired. A few years ago L. H. Bradley went to Omaha, Neb., and the firm name became Bradley & Carpenter. Mr. Bradley was taken ill in April and left for Marshall, where he was under the medical care of his brother, Dr. R. H. Bradley. The deceased was Past Master of St. Paul’s Lodge No. 500 of this city, and was a member of several other secret societies. He was the son of Louis M. and Nancy C. Bradley, the latter surviving him. He leaves three brothers – L. H. Bradley of Omaha, Neb.; Dr. R. H. and Stevenson, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Plasters of Marshall.

The funeral will occur at Marshall Thursday morning at 9 o’clock. A number of his friends here have made arrangements to attend the funeral.

BRADLEY
Mr. W. E. Riggins received yesterday a telegram from Dr. R. H. Bradley, of Marshall, Ill., announcing the death of Mr. Isaac K. Bradley, of this city. Mr. Bradley was about 45 years of age and came to Springfield fifteen or twenty years ago. He entered the law business with his brother, Mr. L. H. Bradley the firm name being Bradley and Bradley. About six years ago the partnership was dissolved, Mr. L. H. Bradley going to Omaha, and his brother, Isaac, entering into partnership with Mr. W. D. Carpenter two years later under the firm name of Bradley & Carpenter, which partnership continued until Mr. Bradley’s death. He had been ill with heart disease and a complication of troubles since March 1, and three months ago went to his mother’s in Marshall. Mr. Bradley was highly thought of, and was also quite active in Masonic circles, being at his death a past master of St. Paul’s Lodge No. 500, A. F. & A. M. He was also a member of the Shabbona club. He was unmarried, and beside his mother is survived by his brothers, Dr. R. H. Bradley, of Marshall, Ill, and Mr. L. H. Bradley, of Omaha, Neb.
