Paul Leon McClanahan Jr. is the son of Paul McClanahan Sr. and Lola Mabel Rhoades McClanahan. Paul Jr. died at a young age, before both of his parents, cause of death unknown.
Note that although the grave marker lists his birthdate as 28 Aug 1918, his school records (see attached) show it as 28 Aug 1914. This birthdate was given by his mother Lola, so it appears to be more reliable than the grave marker, so his memorial has been updated with the birth year of 1914.
