Sarah Jane Widger, was born Sarah Jane Seagraves, 18 June 1818, in Tennessee, she died at her country home South of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, 30 December 1898, being aged 80 years 6 months and 12 days old, she married Edmund Sawrey, 14 February 1837, and four children were born of this union, Three girls and one son, one of which Margaret Riley preceded her to the spirit world, being left a widow by the death of her husband in 1845, she married James D. Widger, 8 February 1851, three children were born to this union, two boys and one girl survive her, she was again left a widow, 28 August 1884, she resided on the farm where she died 59 years, she lived to see 31 great-grandchildren, the remains were laid to rest in Mulberry Grove Cemetery.
