Robert L. Brown dies at Lourdes
Robert Lee Brown, 41, 2231 Dixie Ave., died at Lourdes Hospital at 10:40 am Saturday.
He was an operator for the city of Paducah with 13 years of service. He was born in Trigg County, and moved to Paducah 20 years ago.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 527 In hardin. He was also a member of the State, County, and City Municipal Employees Union Local 1586.
He is survived by his wife, Vernie Brown; his mother, Mrs Grace Ray, West Paducah; a son, Robert Clayton Brown, Paducah; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald Travis, Mrs. Robert Reed, both of Paducah, Mrs Delmer Jones of Murray; three brothers, Henry C. Brown, Paducah, Willie D. Brown, Dexter, and Lonis Brown of Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Nichols, Paducah and Mrs. Ada Baker, Symsonia; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 pm at the New Jenny Ridge Pentecostal Church in Calloway County.
Masonic graveside services will be held with the Rev. John Colvert presiding and burial following in the church cemetery.
