LOUIS M. BROWN

MASARDIS, Aug. 5-Louis M. Brown, 80, died suddenly Monday evening at a Presque Isle hospital.

He was born in Ashland, Jan 30, 1878, son of James and Elvi.. (Porter) Brown. He had lived in Masardis for the past 20 years where he was a well known wood guide.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Almanda De Boo of Plantsville, Conn., and Mrs. Ada Madison of Vancover, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Stimson Funeral Home in Ashland Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 5 o`clock and in the evening from 7 to 9 o`clock.

Funeral services will be held in the Funeral chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o`clock. The Rev. Manuel Snow, pastor of the Masardis Congregational Church will officiate.

Interment will be in the Masardis Cemetery.

ASHLAND, Aug. 10 - Funeral services for Lewis M. Brown who died suddenly at a Presque Isle hospital, were held Thursday afternoon at the Stimson Funeral Home with the Rev. Manuel Snow, pastor of the Masardis Congregational Church officiating.

Bearers were Sam Kinney, Norris Junkins, John Cain and Ollie Cook, all of Masardis.

Interment was in the Masardis Cemetery.
