My Cousin. Robert was born in September 23, 1928 in Hereford, TX to Robert Frances Axe and Zelma Mae Sullenger the oldest of 4 boys. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the US Army from 1950-1953 and gained the rank of Sergeant. He moved to Clovis New Mexico in 1962 and was a resident there for 40 years. He passed away on September 9, 2002 in Clovis, NM at the age of 73. He was survived by his Brothers John Axe of Medford, OR, William Axe of Clovis, NM and Ray Dean Axe and wife Mary Ann of Lewiston, ID, 9 Nieces and Nephews, 12 Great-Nieces and Nephews and 6 Aunts Florence Sullenger of Amarillo, TX, Napon Sullenger of Jarales, NM, Mary Sullenger of Medford, OR, Mary Axe of Ely, NV, Louise Axe of Canyon, TX and Vada Axe of Hereford, TX. He was preceded in death by his Parents Bob and Zelma Axe.
