Also surviving are a daughter, Janet (Mike) Barbee, of Ray; sons, Robert (Kaye) Triplett, of Columbus and Richard Triplett, of Ray; six grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Lawery, of Lake City, FL and Reva Triplett, of Ray; a brother, Murlin (Arlene) Triplett, of Ray; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Cecil Triplett.
Woody served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was former owner and operator of Trippie's Restaurant. He was a member of Scioto Lodge # 6 F & A M, all local Masonic Bodies, including Chillicothe Commandery No 8-Knights Templer and Aladdin Temple Shrine of Columbus. He was also a member of the "Stuffers" and Kentucky Colonels.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
