Raymond L. Frazier, age 71, born in Columbus, Ohio May 28, 1937, died at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Friday, November 7, 2008 surrounded by his mother and caregiver of 71 years, devoted sister and loving brother. He is preceded in death by his father Howard F. Frazier and brother Richard M. Frazier, grandparents Pearl (Laura Stack) Frazier and Leo (Hazel Billingsley) Kuhn. Survived by mother, Helen Volpe; brother, Melvin L. (Linda) Frazier; and sister, Linda (Danny) VanDyke; several nieces and nephews. Ray, was an active member of Fourth Avenue Church of Christ during his early childhood. He was a firm believer in the Lord and lived by the ten commandments. Ray retired from Arc Industries after 30 years of service. He had an appreciation of music and was quite skilled at free lancing, in particular the sketching of birds. Ray was caring with a kind and gentle heart and appreciated all that life offered him. He faced many challenges in his life and managed each one with faith and dignity. He was not a teacher by trade, but his lessons of life were a good teaching for all. He was a loving and caring son and brother, who will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Family will receive friends at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Avenue on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Service 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home.
