Addie was the daughter of Ira William Kilmon and Mattie Mae King. She was the widow of John Dee Bryant, whom she married first on December 2, 1944, and the widow of Frank Packett, her second husband.
Mae Bryant Packett, 91, of Montross, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. She is the widow of John D. Bryant and Frank Packett. May was a member of Edgewater United Methodist Church as well as the Edgewater United Methodist Women’s Group. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking. She is survived by her son, John Everett Bryant (Linda); daughters, Yvonne B. Minor (Durwood) and Janis B. Minor (Larry); seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Carmel United Methodist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home- Montross Chapel.
