DONALD FISCHER DIES OF ACCIDENT INJURIES
Donald N. Fischer, 41, a resident of Conger for 14 years, died at 3:15am Saturday, November 1, 1975 at the St. Paul - Ramsey Hospital Burn Unit at St. Paul. He had been injured Oct. 10 th in an auto accident south of Alden.
Services were held at 1 pm Tuesday, Nov 4th at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Roy M. Hendrickson officiated. Interment was in the Alden Cemetery.
The son of Frank and Mildred Fischer, he was born in Alden Township, Feb. 28, 1934. He graduated from Alden High School and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge.
For 18 years he had been an employee of Wilson & Co., Inc., and for 21 years was the electric guitarist with the Blue Banners Orchestra.
Mr. Fischer and Darlene J. Morgan were married Jan. 28, 1955, at Alden. She survives him.
Other survivors are his mother, at Alden; two daughters, Mrs. David (Rhonda) Linn of Walters and Sheila Rae, at home; two sons, Jimmy and Michael, both at home; two brothers, Orville of Owatonna and Kenneth of Albert Lea; a sister, Mrs. Tenford (Ardus) Sanderson of Alden, and a grandson, Jamie Linn.
His father preceded him in death in 1948.
