Joseph Wayne Goldman, age 62, passed away November 29, 2008. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and had lived in Orange Park for 23 years. Mr. Goldman retired from the Army after 20 years of service and was a life time member of the VFW Post 5968. He is survived by his mother Mildred Blackburn; son, Danny J. Goldman; brother, David Blackburn and sister, Debby Yerry. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, today, in the chapel of HardageGiddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073, with Jerry McManus officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the Cancer Research Fund via VFW Post 5968.
