Grace Mae Foster, 90, of 910 E. Main St., Piketon, died 7:15 p.m. April 25 in Pike Community Hospital. She was born July 7, 1895, in Pike County to Wesley and Amanda Dean Rose. In 1913, she married John B. Foster, who died in 1962. Survivors include four sons, Lowell Foster, Midwest City, Okla., John B. Foster, Jr., Piketon, Harry L. Foster, Phoenix, Ariz., and Ben Foster, Waverly; seven daughters, Rose Parker, Piketon, Gladys Legg, Piketon, Louise Abel, Dayton, Ethel Mosher, Chillicothe, Mildred Allen, Tallahassee, Fla., Lillian Cutlip and Adah Mae Farmer, both of Dayton; a sister, Verna Newton, Piketon; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Frances H. Foster, her parents, her husband, two brothers and three sisters. She was a member of Piketon Jasper United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Howe-Wheeler Funeral Home, Piketon. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
