Bertha Alice Simpson, 74, died at her home on R R 1 Farmersville, the Farmersville-West Alexandria Road, after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
Services were held in the Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, with Rev. Richard Miller officiating. Burial was in Twin Valley Cemetery.
Survivors are the husband, Will; two sons, Lee of Farmersville and Russell of near West Alexandria, a daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Hazel) Glander of West Alexandria; five grand-children; and one great-grandchild.
