Mrs. Stark worked for Jennings County School Corporation as a head cook, school bus driver and custodian for over 17 years. She was also a Foster Grandparent bus driver for three years.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in North Vernon, where she served as the church treasurer, a Sunday school teacher and as church decorator.She enjoyed arranging flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, attending church and participating in all church activities.
Born May 28, 1939, in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Luther Crouch and Gladys Bartholomew Crouch. She married Donald Stark Sr. on Nov. 18, 1956, in North Vernon. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Donald Edward Stark Jr. of North Vernon; two daughters, Jeanne Lynn Bailey of Zenas and Gladys Faye Woods of Paris Crossing; a brother, John Crouch of Indianapolis; two sisters, Vera Jarrett of Tampa, Fla., and Carolyn Caudill of Dupont; and five grandchildren, Mathew Bailey and Dawn Bailey of Zenas, Joshua Woods of Vernon, Caleb Woods of Commiskey and Alice Woods of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Aaron Lee Stark; a sister, Pearl Hughes; and five brothers, Glen Crouch, Harold Crouch, Charles Crouch and twin brothers Edmund and Edward Crouch.
