Mr. Reardon was born May 3, 1916, at Parsons, Kan. His parents were George Elliot Reardon and Ethel Barker Reardon. He moved to Goodman in 1927 from Parsons where he made his home for 50 years. He served in World War II where he received a Purple Heart and numerous other medals. He was a member of American Legion Post # 479. He was of Baptist faith.
He married Meta Lett in 1946. She preceded him in death in 1964. Also preceding him in death were three brothers; Junior Reardon, Ralph Reardon, and Grover Lee Reardon.
Survivors include three sisters, Maudie Bates, Goodman, Maxine Barker, Oswego, Kan., and Twila Russell, Kansas City, Kan., and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
